Haylee is a Project Officer in the School of Molecular and Life Sciences at Curtin University, Perth. She has experience in research, management, technical, and administrative roles within the university environment, and has undertaken research projects in a range of areas (seed technology and enablement, soil science, eDNA monitoring, plant physiology, evolutionary biology, Indigenous land management), in a range of settings (mine sites, laboratory, glasshouse, remote surveys), and with a range of stakeholders (academic, government, industry, Indigenous). Haylee’s primary interests are botany, plant community responses to disturbance, and ecological restoration. She completed her PhD in 2017 at Curtin University on Evolutionary Adaptations to Climate Change in Australian Flora.
