Judy recently represented the Toad Containment Zone project at the National Biodiversity Offsets Conference 4.0 in Canberra. Hosted by the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand Inc (EIANZ), the conference brought together policymakers, regulators, researchers and environmental practitioners from across Australia to explore the theme “Nature Positive by 2030: Integrity, Restoration and Net Gain in Action.” Judy presented in the plenary session ‘Delivery of offsets in practice: planning and implementing offsets that deliver genuine conservation outcomes.’ The session focused on the practical challenges and opportunities involved in designing and implementing biodiversity offsets that achieve measurable, long-term conservation outcomes.
